i turned the image into a tribute to fairy tales but in the mature way; a kind of mix of beauty and the beast with little mermaid? ... anyway when i spend too much time on a visual i often change the direction of it to reinforce the storytelling ( the mermaid was originally just a dead one; she became the protagonist). I like some aspect of it, i will not anymore on a few days ;-p but was a good practice on color palettes; brushes ( mix of blur and sharp ones mostly) and layout in general.
